At Bon Voyage World Languages Academy, our mission is to create a new generation of culturally aware, global citizens who embrace new experiences and ideas, and who work to create a more collaborative world.

Bon Voyage World Languages Academy and Bon Voyage French Program are partner programs founded by our director Elizabeth Porter. We are a national organization headquartered in Richland, Washington.

Bon Voyage World Languages Academy was founded in April 2016 and runs the portion of the program that offers French language classes for both credit and enrichment. Courses take place online in our virtual Zoom Classroom. These courses are designed for students ages 5 to 18 who do not speak French as a native language. We also offer immersion courses. Our virtual classroom functions much like a traditional brick and mortar classroom, and offers us many of the same benefits of a regular classroom, including the ability to group students into cooperative learning teams.

Bon Voyage French Program is our 501(c)(3) organization and our cultural and community outreach program. We have been a registered nonprofit organization since March 2017. Our program is dedicated to the promotion of French as an international and multicultural language. We celebrate the more than 377 million people on 5 continents, who speak French worldwide. We offer many services and events during the year for children, families, and adults such as our Annual Café Day in April, our Annual Marché de Noël (Christmas Market) in December, wine and cheese socials, the Annual Beaujolais Nouveau, movie nights, Pétanque games, summer camps, Francophone Culture celebrations, and our Kids’ Club – Les Renards — for ages 3 to 12. We also offer two opportunities for travel. We offer two immersion programs in Vichy, France, which is run through CAVILAM-Alliance Française — the premier French language school in the world.
